Citizens Advice response to the Welsh Government’s Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy consultation
The Welsh Government’s Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy proposes to:
assist with the take up of electric and hybrid vehicles
improve the current charging infrastructure
help with the transition to net-zero emissions
In our response we set out how we agree with the vision in the strategy that ‘by 2025, all users of electric cars and vans in Wales are confident that they can access electric vehicle charging infrastructure when and where they need it.’
The ambitious target is an important outcome to achieve prior to ending the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles and we offer feedback on how such a move could improve consumer confidence and aid the transition to zero emission forms of transport.
