Citizens Advice response to consultation on gas company ‘NTS exit capacity incentive’ [ 100 kb]

In our response we agree with Ofgem’s proposal that the current incentive for NTS exit capacity booking is no longer fit for purpose and should be removed. It should be replaced with ‘enhanced obligations’ to report on booking behaviour, which should be scrutinised and potentially penalised where companies are found to book space on the transmission gas network inefficiently.
