Citizens Advice Response to BEIS’ Consultation on proposals to improve non-domestic consumers’ smart metering awareness and data access
Citizens Advice support the intention of the rollout to ensure that non-domestic consumers receive communications about smart meters more tailored to their needs. We are also of the view that they should have free access to their usage data as domestic consumers do. This data should be provided in an easily accessible and portable format to allow new services to emerge and consumers to make full use of their data.
