Consumer empowerment partnerships
Our national consumer advocacy and education work is supported by a network of 11 Consumer Empowerment Partnerships (CEP) across England.
The partnerships are led by local Citizens Advice who work closely with the regional Trading Standards officers to lead on consumer empowerment initiatives in their area. The Consumer Empowerment Partnerships are strategically led by Citizens Advice, giving a local focus to national plans, but operationally independent.
Read our publication Powerful partnerships [ 180 kb], about how the CEPs work with Trading Standards.
