Getting ready for your video call

When you join the video call we'll place you in an online waiting room. When an adviser is available, we’ll connect them to you.

Before you join the waiting room make sure you:

  • have documents about your problem with you - you won’t be able to share your screen with the adviser

  • are somewhere quiet and private

  • understand that the adviser will see you and your background

  • are connected to the internet

  • understand your data costs - if you have limited data, use your home WiFi or a secure WiFi connection somewhere else

After your video call, you’ll get a short survey on your screen. Please take 2 minutes to fill it in so we can make our video call service better.
