Ofgem plans will help people find better deal but price rise fears remain
Citizens Advice responds to Ofgem’s countdown to a simpler, clearer and fairer energy market.
Gillian Guy, Chief Executive at national charity Citizens Advice said:
"It's hard to be a savvy consumer when you're faced with a myriad of different tariffs to choose from. Ofgem's plans will make it easier for people to find the best deal. But households are very anxious about rising prices and are really worried about how much bills will cost in the future - especially given the concerns raised by Ofgem earlier this week about dwindling energy resources."
