About the role

Purpose of the role

 To greet clients as they enter reception

 To make clients feel welcome

 To make an initial triage of their issue

Main duties and responsibilities include

 Welcoming clients into the offices

 Keeping clients informed of waiting times

 Informing advisers that there are clients waiting

 Answering the telephone, taking & passing on clear messages

 Keeping the reception and the waiting room orderly

 Helping the Office Manager with administrative tasks as required

 Opening and closing reception

 Making sure interview rooms are opened and ready as needed

 Registering new clients on our system

 Updating client cases

 Scanning and updating documents

 Have the ability and communication skills to relay brief but concise information to the supervisors

 The ability to listen and take notes whilst showing empathy to our clients

 Willingness to undertake CA advisor training

 Triage clients using CA public site information

Personal skills and qualities that a receptionist needs

 A commitment to the aims and principles of CAH
