About the role
We have the following vacancy within Citizens Advice Hull and East Riding.
Generalist Advisor – 18.5 hours per week post
Traineeship applications welcome
Salary scale: £29,560 per annum
Trainee Salary: £26,068 per annum, rising to £29,560 per annum on successful completion of traineeship.
Contract: The post is offered initially until 30th June 2025, this may be extended subject to future funding.
Based within Citizens Advice, Hull & East Riding’s Generalist Advice Service the post holder will deliver generalist advice services in The Wilson Centre, Hull, and outreach venues across the city.
Unless applying for a traineeship, the post holder should have knowledge of the current law and policy in relation to welfare rights and money advice and at least 1-year experience of providing legal advice on a wide range of issues to members of the public.
You will have the ability to work both independently with minimum supervision, and as part of a team and to be confident using a wide range of IT systems. IT Equipment will be provided.
Traineeship

We will be looking for the ability to meet the person specification and deliver the job to the required standards within 6 months. Full training will be offered.
