About the role

Citizens Advice Oxfordshire has a new opportunity for a Board and Senior Management Team Administrator.

You will be managed by the Chief Executive Officer and reporting to/liaising with the Board, Board and Senior Management Team Administrator is central to the smooth operating of our organisation. You will provide meeting administration and secretariat for board and subcommittee meetings, usually held online in the evenings. There are likely to be between 4 and 6 board or subcommittee meetings in each quarter.

The role holder will need to work flexible hours including some evenings and very occasional weekend days, and will be supporting our Trustee Board, Chief Executive Officer, and two Directors.

Essential Criteria

● Excellent oral and written communications skills;

● Strong minute taking and writing skills;

● Strong organisational skills;

● Ability to take a brief, ensure the task is understood and then work independently;

● Ability to maintain quality whilst working on more than one assignment simultaneously;

● Ability to maintain essential confidentiality when required.

● Ability (or demonstrable capacity to learn quickly) to use Microsoft and Google products (documents, spreadsheets and cloud -based storage, calendars etc )

Hours Ideally 10 hours per week but hours flexible to meet the needs of the board, and negotiable depending on individual circumstances.

Duration: Permanent position

Salary: £8,108 – £9,189 actual salary for 10 hrs per week £30,000 – £34,000 per annum full time equivalent

Holidays: 31 days plus Bank Holidays ( pro rata for part time roles )

Pension: We offer an auto-enrolment workplace pension scheme with 5% employer contribution

Expenses: All reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed. Travel above home to work can be claimed at £0.45 per mile.

Other: Laptop, mobile phone and any other essential equipment required will be provided
