About the role
We are looking for a debt adviser or caseworker to deliver one off, emergency and ongoing debt/money advice to our clients.
It's a rewarding job supporting residents and their families with debt-related issues to become more financially resilient and independent.
Full training will be given to existing Debt Advisers who are looking to work at caseworker level.
You will have:
- either experience of delivering debt advice and/or casework, or current experience as an Adviser at Generalist help level with a willingness to train as a Debt Adviser/Caseworker
- the ability to managing your own workloads and prioritise tasks
- strong IT skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively face-to-face, in writing and over the phone
Trainees will be considered but you must already have current experience delivering advice with minimum supervision, and a working knowledge of the debt advice process
We will also be willing to fund training to gain the IMA Certificate in Money Advice Practice for the right candidate.
