Debt Caseworker

Citizens Advice North Nottinghamshire is looking for a dedicated and meticulous candidate, to work as a caseworker on our long-established Debt Team.

We would be very open to appointing a trainee Debt Caseworker.

The Debt Team gives free and quality advice to people in need in Bassetlaw and Mansfield. Debt has been a rising social problem for some time, and this is unlikely to change as household income fails to keep pace with rising expenditure.

As a Caseworker, you will be providing high quality advice to clients, negotiating with creditors, helping clients deal with emergencies such as eviction or bailiff action and working to complete debt solutions such as bankruptcies and debt relief orders, as well as helping to plan personal and household budgets.

We will provide training, and funding for relevant accreditations such as becoming a Debt Relief Order intermediary.
