Do you believe in justice, equality, and making a real difference in people’s lives? Leeds Citizens Advice & Law Centre helps over 35,000 people a year with welfare benefits, debt, housing, energy issues, and more. We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our dedicated team of advice professionals.

We're recruiting for a range of rewarding roles across our Advice Service, including:

  • Adviser

  • Caseworker (Debt & Welfare Benefits)

  • Gateway Assessor

  • Help to Claim Welfare Rights Adviser

  • Outreach Adviser

  • Advice Team Supervisor (Outreach)

  • Team Leader

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking people with strong communication skills, resilience, a commitment to social justice, and the desire to support our communities through high-quality advice and casework. Experience in advice work is welcomed, but we also encourage applications from those with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

Whether you’re exploring a client’s problem with them, supporting someone through a debt or housing issue, guiding a client through the benefits system, or supervising advisers and volunteers, your work will be vital – and valued.

Competitive salaries on NJC pay scale points 7–25 (£25,584 - £35,235 depending on role and experience)
