Letter to 'make time of the essence': goods
This advice applies to England. See advice for See advice for Northern Ireland, See advice for Scotland, See advice for Wales
Use this letter to give a trader a final deadline when they're taking too long to deliver goods to you. You must tell them it's essential to stick to this deadline. This is called 'making time of the essence'.

To whom it may concern,
On 14 January 2022 I ordered the following:
Thread+Go sewing machine model 5400
I have not yet received the goods. I am now making time of the essence for you to deliver the goods within 14 days, otherwise I shall hold you to be in breach of contract and seek cancellation and a full refund.
Please contact me to arrange this.
Yours faithfully,
Sam Hoolin
