About the role
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives through expert advice and support? Citizens Advice Swindon is seeking a dedicated Welfare Benefits Adviser/Caseworker to join our team.
You will have:
● A good understanding of the welfare benefits system, particularly disability benefits.
● Recent experience of delivering advice in a social welfare setting.
● Experience of managing workloads and prioritising tasks
● Strong IT skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively face-to-face, in writing and over the phone
Trainees will be considered but you must already have current experience delivering Benefits advice with minimum supervision.
