About the role

Base location: Home* with travel to East Midlands Hospitals & Stakeholder venues

The EMSTN Advice Service is a free, confidential service that helps people affected by Sickle Cell or Thalassaemia with everyday challenges like benefits, housing, or employment issues.

As an EMSTN Adviser, you’ll be that friendly voice on the other end of the phone, providing expert guidance on a range of issues. You’ll help people understand their options and feel empowered to make informed decisions.

Your day-to-day

-You’ll help clients understand their rights and options, providing clear and accessible advice on a range of issues.

-You’ll empower clients to make informed decisions and access the support they need.

-You’ll actively engage with the community to raise awareness about the EMSTN Advice Service and ensure it reaches those who need it most.

-You’ll develop trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and partner organisations, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for everyone involved.
