About the role

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-oriented fundraising professional with a strong track record in income generation to lead our work to secure vital funds to sustain and expand our services. Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Innovation, you will develop and deliver a successful fundraising strategy building on our existing varied portfolio of funders and donors. You will excel at writing persuasive bids, identify opportunities for growth, and build strong relationships with funders and donors. Passionate about making a difference in the community, you bring creativity and excellent relationship management skills to this key role, helping us achieve financial sustainability and meet the needs of those who rely on our services.

You will be joining the organisation at an exciting time as we develop a new county wide strategy and operating model to meet the advice needs of the Oxfordshire community, following the merger of three Local Citizens Advice charities.

This is a part time position that supports hybrid working.

Essential Criteria

Demonstrated experience in successfully raising funds through various channels, including trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships, or individual donors.

Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills including strong bid writing and copywriting skills - excellent grammar, proofreading, and accuracy.

Proven ability to maintain effective stakeholder relationships both internally and with funders.

Hours: 22.2 hours per week (3 days )

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £30,000-£34,000 pro rata (full time is 37 hours)

£19,200-£20,400 actual salary for 22.2hrs per week.

Pension: Auto enrolment Pension Scheme. Our employer contribution is 5% of gross salary

Holiday: 31 days plus Bank Holidays ( pro rata for part time roles )

A laptop will be provided along with any other office equipment

Expenses: This role will be hybrid , a combination of office based and remote working. Any additional travel above home to work can be claimed at £0.45 per mile
