About the role
Based in our Macclesfield town centre location, you will support the day to day running of our General Advice service as well as our Specialist Debt service, covering Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
You will be the initial contact for clients or other third parties, face to face, via the admin phone line or via emails and post.
You will enable the effective running of the organisation -
Manage appointments, diaries
Manage social media
Maintain office supplies
Plan occasional promotional events
Maintain and action records for annual H&S checks
You will also work closely with our Specialist Debt caseworker, helping to prepare clients for their money advice appointments and support them afterwards.
Assist debt clients to complete their budget in advance of the appointment.
Collect information from creditors, local authority, and utility companies to support the work of the adviser.
Processing information received from the client to contribute to the progress of their case.
Inputting and maintaining client data onto our internal case management systems
As well as a personable and empathetic manner, the post holder will need to be very well organised and able to respond to changing demands on their time.
You will have proven experience of working in a client facing role with vulnerable clients, You will work towards completion of the Adviser Learning Programme and Money Advice accreditation programme.
