About the role

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you have the skills to lead a team, build strong local partnerships, and drive high-quality advice services? If so, Citizens Advice New Forest has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Locality Advice Manager for West New Forest.

The Role

As an Advice Locality Manager, you will oversee the delivery of advice services in the West New Forest area, ensuring they are accessible, high-quality, and meet the needs of the local community. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing advice services across local offices and outreach locations.

• Leading a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

• Building and maintaining relationships with local partners, including councils, health services, and housing associations.

• Monitoring service performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.

• Contributing to local and national campaigns, using client data to influence positive change.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience managing advice services or similar functions in the charity or a related field.

• A good awareness of the issues that affect clients, such as debt, welfare benefits, housing, and employment.

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with strong organisational abilities.

• Experience in community outreach and partnership development.

While knowledge of the Citizens Advice network is desirable, it’s not essential – we value your experience and commitment to making a difference.

Why join us?

• Flexible working arrangements to support your work/life balance.

• 25 days’ holiday per year (pro rata), plus bank holidays.

• A welcoming, inclusive, and purpose-driven work environment.
