About the role
Join our friendly team at Citizens Advice North Nottinghamshire where we're starting a vital initiative to enhance housing guidance services. This role, in collaboration with Mansfield District Council, aims to raise the standard of privately rented homes and empower tenants to uphold their rights.
Lately, we've noticed a worrying trend: renters facing unfair practices from landlords, a situation worsened by rising living costs and a lack of affordable homes. Often, tenants feel trapped, having to decide between standing up for their rights or keeping their home.
As a Housing Caseworker, you'll advise clients, advocate for improvements and swiftly communicate pressing matters to the council.
We encourage individuals to apply who may not have a background in housing but demonstrate a strong capacity for learning and a desire to advance in this field.
