About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen as we expand our Social Prescribing offer in Ipswich. These roles provide support and guidance to the people in our local community. Citizens Advice offers free, confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person. We give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We help with everything from money issues to problems at work, housing to consumer rights. As part of the Social Prescribing team, you will also play an important role in linking people up with other statutory and voluntary organisations to help people find support for the issues they are facing.
To be successful in this role you will be a confident, self-driven, and self-motivated individual with recent experience as an adviser or able to undertake intensive training to reach the required standard. You will have excellent IT and communication skills and be able to self-manage your workload and time, managing client cases with attention to detail and timeliness of advice. You will have a passion for making a difference by providing a top-quality service for the people of Ipswich.
If you feel you have the relevant experience and would like to become part of this dynamic team, please submit your CV and Personal Statement to HR@ipswichcab.org.uk
If you would like to talk about the role further, please contact Emily Bergstrom: Connect for Health Team Leader at 01473 298637.
