Role Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our expanding team in a brand-

new role, created to support the continued success and growth of our digital inclusion

project. This role focuses on the direct delivery of 1:1 and group-based digital skills

training to individuals who are digitally excluded, particularly those aged 50+.

The role will involve:

● Delivering basic digital skills training through both 1:1 sessions and group

workshops in various community locations.

● Raising awareness and promoting the project across North East Derbyshire and

Bolsover to reach those most in need.

● Working in partnership with local voluntary, community, and statutory

organisations to improve digital access and support.

Due to the nature of the role, travel across North East Derbyshire and Bolsover will be

required. You will be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload, ensuring

all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. Strong communication skills, including

the ability to present to small groups, are essential. While you will be part of a

supportive team, you must also be comfortable working independently. Experience in

engaging with a range of stakeholders to promote services is highly desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact by helping individuals build

confidence and independence in an increasingly digital world.

To apply for the role please send a completed application form detailing your

suitability for the role by addressing each of the points in the Person Specification to:

recruitment@nedcab.org.uk. The deadline for applications is 23:59 on 26th February.

Citizens Advice North East Derbyshire is committed to diversity and inclusion, promotes

equality and challenges discrimination. We encourage and welcome applications from

people of all backgrounds. Applicants who identify as disabled and who satisfy the

shortlisting criteria will automatically be offered an interview.

Following receipt of your application we will send a diversity monitoring form via email,

this will not influence the decision-making process and will be stored in strict

confidence.

Successful candidates will be contacted afterward the closing date to invite them to

interview.
